My Story
I had chronic neck pain and headaches through childhood, but it wasn’t until I developed full-body eczema that I realised something deeper was going on.
I tried everything! Creams, cleanses, Western medicine, alternative therapies and more. I pushed my body and mind to their limits trying to heal.
But when I stopped obsessing over fixing myself and started caring about how I felt, my body began to improve.
Now, 11 years later, I’m healthier, happier, and more excited by life than I’ve ever been.
Getting sick taught me what it really takes to be well: listening to my body and caring about how I feel.

Most treatments focus on the "hardware" (the body part that hurts or the physical symptom itself). The work we will do focuses on the "software" (the nervous system/brain). We aren't just trying another physical fix; we are addressing the engine that drives the symptoms. By shifting the focus from management to the underlying patterns, we open a door that traditional physical treatments often miss.
While "aha" moments often happen quickly, building lasting stability takes time. We usually begin with weekly sessions to build a foundation, then reduce frequency to fortnightly or monthly as you gain confidence. On average, I see major shifts within 6–8 sessions. My goal is always your independence, giving you the tools to navigate your own health without ongoing dependency on me.
Yes. I work with a wide range of persistent symptoms where a sensitized nervous system is the driver, including chronic pain, fatigue, digestive issues, and inflammatory flare-ups. Importantly, duration does not determine reversibility. The length of time you’ve been in the cycle does not change the brain's biological ability to "unlearn" a pattern and return to a state of safety.
Absolutely not. Your symptoms are 100% real. This approach is based on the biological fact that the brain and nervous system control the body's physical output, including pain and inflammation. You are NOT imagining your symptoms. We are looking at the "control centre" that is generating them.
Sessions are conversational and responsive to your current experience - fears, flare-ups, or recurring thoughts. Underneath that, we’re consistently working through three core pillars:
Clarifying Understanding: Mapping how your specific nervous system is reacting to your environment.
Changing Response: Learning how to communicate "safety" to your brain to interrupt the symptom cycle.
Addressing Patterns: Identifying the emotional or situational triggers that keep your system on high alert.
I’m a qualified counsellor with a background in massage therapy. Years of physical bodywork showed me that treating the body alone often provides only temporary relief if the nervous system is still sending danger signals. By combining professional psychological training with my lived experience of resolving decades of my own chronic pain and illness, I provide a path that is both evidence-based and deeply empathetic to the reality of life with chronic symptoms.
All sessions are conducted via GoogleMeet, allowing us to work together regardless of where you are in the world. I offer a range of appointment times to accommodate various time zones, particularly for clients in the UK, Europe, Asia, New Zealand and Australia.
